A book that I liked

I didn't really read anything over the summer, but last year in english I read the Chronicals of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and thought that after seeing the movie it was awesome. Every person that reads this has probably read it or at least seen the movie, so ill just tell you some differences. In the movie, when Cedric walks into the Queens castle for the first time, he was freaked out by the wolve that he thought was fake but was actually real. And in reading the book, he was actually afraid of a lion that he thought was real, but was actually made out of stone. Another was when the beaver was first introduced in the book, he came out of nowhere and started telling the kids to follow him, while in the movie, he prentended to not even be able to talk. I found the book to be alot more confusing, because of it being alot more detailed and me being a very visual learner.

Madie- My name is Jenifer (JL) and i am a grad student at the U of M. I read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants a year ago and I really enjoyed it, too. I think they have a second movie coming out soon (maybe already out). Maybe a second book too? I think you're pretty brave to admit you didn't do a lot of reading this summer, especially on an english class blog - thanks for your honesty! Sometimes everyone (including people with an english degree) need a break from reading. As long as you come back to the dark side (and start reading again) I think you'll be okay :)
