Title of book: Charlotts Web
Written by: E.D. White
Charlotts Web is a heart warming story about a girl named Fern and her pig,Wilbur. The story begins with the father walking towards the pig pen about to kill the runt. Fern sees him and makes him stop. She makes him think hard on the next decision that he is going to make. He decides to let Fern take full responsibility of the piglet. She later on names him Wilbur. The baby pig is fed around 5 time each day, ine early in the morning, again at noon, after Fern returns home from school, at suppertime, and once again, right before going to bed. Being the runt makes him more special than otheres, and make Fern want to care for him even more than she would any other. As the story gets more into the main idea, Wilbur grows a ton, and has to be sent down the road to Ferns uncles farm. It is within walking distance of her farm, but to Fern it feels like miles. Hopefullly he will like his new home, expcially being sofar from him best friend.

Charlotte's Web is a classic novel. You do a great job summarizing the plot, but I also like how you are asking questions of the text (Will Wilbur like his new home?). This shows that you're thinking while your reading, and this can never be a bad thing :)
Haha. I love the comments that you make. Can i ask how many dif peoples blogs that you have commented on?
Madie
Madie- I think I comment regularly on about four students' blogs in the entire Edina tenth grade class. I haven't looked at other blogs from your peers in your English class. I'm really impressed with your blogs regarding Charlotte's Web. Some people have a tendency to just summarize the big events; this leaves out a lot of the subtle moments in a novel. In your case, you've done a great job highlighting the big events (Charlotte writing in her web) as well as the smaller plots (falling on the egg). This allows readers to get a feel for the author's style and perspective during the text-you've gone beyond just plot summary and I thank you for that. Even graduate students struggle with this skill-kudos to you!
